Are the coasters from the center cut or is that just made to hold them? I had seen that design before and wondered how it was made. I make my coasters just by cross cutting and haven’t come up with a good storage solution yet. Nice work!!

watermark- yes the coaters are from the center. its basically the same deal as making a bandsaw box. what you do is get a log bout 6 inches long and cut off the bottom. put the bottom to the side and grab the other piece. take that hunk of log and virtically cut two notches (one for each side) and a circle (coasters). Now you have a bottom, two sides of the log and a cylinder chunk of log. Glue the two sides to the bottom and that will be the holder. cut the chunk as many times as you want to make the coasters. and thats it all you need is a bandaw and some time.
