The is a simple Math Balance Beam that I made for our Church’s 1st. grade calss. The idea is that you put two washers on the number 4 peg on one side and one each on the number 5 and 3 pegs on the other side. The the beam, or equation, is in balance. This should be a fun learning items for the class to use. A fun project and easy to build.

Thanks for looking.

I have a daughter who is a 2nd grade teacher. I think she would really like this. Is there any problems in zeroing out the (equator)? What are the dimensions you used, and may I try to copy yours?
