I wanted to make something different for my wife this year on V. day. She always complains if I spend too much on flowers. I was inspired by some of the awesome projects on LJ. And Steve Good’s patterns.
It’s made from 3/4” hard maple and canary glued up. I set the saw table to 2 degrees. Finished with natural Danish oil. I had a slight problem with burning but most of it sanded out.
I’m new to Lumberjocks and I just want to say this is a Great community and great website. The inspirational and educational value is priceless.

Welcome to LJs, you produced a good looking bowl! Yes, maple will burn if using too slow a feed rate, too fast a feed rate or dull tools.
