Hey LJ’s,
Thought I would share my Valentine’s Day Craft I made for the misses. It’s nothing too extravagant but it was definitely fun to make. As you can see I hollowed out a clear light bulb and formed red copper wires into heart shapes and placed them into the bulb and mounted the whole thing to a piece of red oak. The oak piece was something I just had lying around and I still might stain it a dark color so the cardstock label will have a better contrasting look. I used small copper tacks/nails to pin it and initially I had too many items going into the bulb(I had crafted small “XOXO” and “Love” spelled out in cursive with the wire, they made it safely into the bulb… but when I went to epoxy the wires and bulb base to the oak… the letters became tangled with each other and I had to make a quick 5min set time decision to pull everything out and restart with something more simple) Although V-Day has already passed… maybe some of you could use this idea for a quick Mother’s Day gift in the near future. Enjoy!

Great gift idea that I can make with my daughter. Our wife/mother will love it like I’m sure yours does. : )
