After making a bunch of bandsaw boxes, I was left with some small chunks of wood that were cut from the interior of the drawers. They looked too good to throw away, so I ended up making these little phone/gadget stands out of them. The wood is western red cedar and pine.

And that’s why we never throw away scrap wood. Good job. We could use a few of those around our house.

I have two Androids, 1 Samsung 7 inch Tab and an ipad…and they all plug in the bottom to charge. I might have to do some alterin for mine to fit…or turn ‘em sideways.
Yours looks really nice.

I have a similar one that I drilled out a hole for the charger to fit in the bottom.

Sharp idea! Better use scrap woods into something useful like that . Nicely done.

LOL…I’ve been making similar designs for about a year now…from scraps.
Mine are the same width as business cards…and they work well for them too.
