My First bandsaw box

I got inspired to try this by Hillbillyshooter who made a band saw heart box for his wife. John had been inspired by another lumberjock, I think its cool we all learn from each other. I received some cherry about 18 months ago when a friends tree blew down in a storm….Made a bunch of bowls with it and had a few piece left that I thought were too checked to turn. It’s a little rough in spots…I’ve ordered some thinner blade for the saw. I can’t wait to do some more but ….....That darn honey do list again!!!!

Nice job. Really like the slightly rustic look you achieved with the left overs.

Cool band saw box! Has lots of character and beautiful wood.
