I saw something similar to this in a restaurant and liked it. Stripes are cherry and maple and the star area is walnut. I debated what to do about the stars and decided to just leave the area blank. The flag measures 20” high by 37” wide.

Beautiful work! How thick is it and is it mounted on some kind of backer board?

Thanks for the nice comments. Philip – it is 3/4” thick and I mounted it using a single keyhole slot on the back side of the flag in the middle towards the top. It is hung on drywall using an E-Z drywall anchor. Sturdy as can be!
