This is the out-feed table that I built for my Sawstop. I used plywood, black laminate, and 1×4s. Entire project cost between $40 and $50. Gave me more work space than the $100 table from Sawstop. If you don’t have an out-feed table, it is a major convenience in the shop!

“If you don’t have an out-feed table, it is a major convenience in the shop!” Or any table saw for that matter. Good move and use that extra money you saved on more tools!

Very nice. I need to build one. Does anyone know if laminate is flexible enough to roll up and fit in the back of a SUV? I don’t trust them to cut it square at the store but I can’t get a full sheet in my vehicle.

great build. Looking at it, it looks like A down draft table would fit real nice in that space next to the out feed.
I think I see another shop project in your future.

I made a router table on wheels that can roll up to teh table saw to perform sort-of outfeed benefits.

Yours looks GREAT; I’m jealous of the Real-Deal ; Nice work!

I must admit this left me with a lot of questions like why you chose to make it this size I would like to have an outfeed table but for me it must roll and it has to be as wide as the saw otherwise wide stock like 5×5 and 4×8 sheets will not be supported when i run them through the saw I do like your design and the black laminate is a must for this fine saw I want to make one may use some of your ideas but mine will have to be wider and also be able to be used as a construction table.

Well, to answer questions about the size of my table, I simply just don’t have the room in my shop to cut sheet goods. I do plan to extend the open area for a router table, but haven’t decided exactly what I want to do yet. Thank you all for the nice comments. Just joined lumberjocks and everyone has been so nice and welcoming! Don’t see that much on the Internet any more. Thank you!

Welcome to LJ’s. I agree that this is one of the nicest online communities I have seen. In keeping with that tradition…very nice work! I love the black laminate. Where did you get it?

That’s pretty cool! Now you could add some storage underneath the outfeed and make it extra useful?

-- ok, is it cut once measure twice, cut twice measure once???? I know....I'll just keep cutting until it's long enough.

I got the black laminate @ Home Depot. I got a 24” x 48” piece for around $12.!
