Sweet Cane – actually Sweetgum Cane, had a 40 year old Sweetgum Tree in my yard that became infested with carpenter ants, this was the only piece worth saving. Beautiful wood but a pain to work with, as it dried the sap in the bark crystallized making it increadibly hard to strip off. About 32 inches tall, handle has a nice natural curve that fits the hand well. Finished with Spar Varnish. Questions, comments and critiques are always welcome, thanks for looking

Is Sweet Gum related to Blue- and Red-Gum, all Eucalyptus?
