This is a little coat rack I made for my daughter’s room so she can hang her house coat.
Project is a take off on the leash holder project that I gave away to friends (and my daughter just about died when I did)
Of course it has a dog theme and includes leather foot pads representing a chocolate and black lab and a golden retriever.
The feet are pear wood and the dowels are rosewood. The bone is a hunk of painted plywood with shaped ends.
The last photo is a Scottie dog belt I made her…ages ago. Those edges are a little rough, needed my Cocobolo edge burnisher!
I have to get her a dog soon, just not able to figure out the time. Fun stuff

What a wonderful way to teach your children to be organized, tidy and build a personal relationship to boot. Your children are fortunate to have such parents.
