boxes are made of purple heart and yellow heart, padauk and yellow heart, quilted ambrosia maple and padauk, and quilted maple and walnut crotch. the corners are mitered with dovetail keys. the inside bottom is lined with velvet. the lid just lifts off. on three of the boxes i scrolled in names of friends and family members and gave them for christmas. they are about 9” long by 6 tall by 6 wide. i made the bows on the scroll saw.

if I may ask, whats the easiest way to cut dovetail keys? I could build a spline jig to cut the slot, but the key itself, still unsure….

Those are gifts that don’t need wrapping. Beautiful enough to give to loved ones.
