first intarsia project

The pattern I used is out of the intarsia work book by judy roberts. I used red gum for the dark wood and maple for the light wood. It’s approximately 3”x13” finished with 3 coats of spray lacquer.

That was my first intarsia attempt as well. Nice cutting and finishing as well. I bought several more of Judy’s patterns that I’m starting on now and plan to design some of my own patterns too. Good luck in this arena, I love it.

John the name of the book is intarsia work book bu judy gale roberts it has a hot air balloon on the cover.
