This evenings scroll saw project. This is an old pic I see someone put up on facebook of my Mother and her siblings. I thought it would make a fun scroll saw project. My mother is the eldest sibling in the picture 4th from the left. Once again, cut with a spiral blade.
I am working on a video of GIMP and how to use it. If someone would like to donate a photo that we can use in the video would be great. I will be cutting it out as well. Will mail the finished project to you as well.

Very nice, I look forward to your video/blog
You must have great patience. I’m learning to use
an old scroll-saw that I’ve rebuilt and I’m still doing
practice cuts. long way off a project yet,
Jamie

Nice work – you brought as much detail out of that old photo that you possibly could.
You can see each individual and make out features.
Great cutting!

A1jim – Thanks!
Jamie Spiers – thank you – Will try to have the video up in a short amount of time.
KnotCurser – I have been viewing your work – AMAZING. thanks for the comment.
Woodenwizard = thank you – The gimp tutorial will be the basics of making a pattern, something others can follow even if they are not familiar with the program they will be able to follow the pointing and clicking to get results.

Hey, you left somebody out! (The guy on the right who appears to be holding a beer) :-)
Very nice outcome, from paper photo to wood! I like it!
