We needed an end table and so I used some scrap pine that was warped, had screw holes and was darkened by the sun.
I had originally made it very blocky and rough. After having it sometime in the house I decided to do some shaping to the legs. I had to add some wedge shaped pieces where the feet meet the upright part of the legs.
I did not think to take any before pictures until I was done. I finished it with Tung oil.
