My cousin and uncle went Black Bear hunting in Maine and my cousin shot a nice Bear with his bow. My uncle however wasnt able to get one so my cousin kept the skull and asked me to make a mount for it so that he could give it to our uncle for christmas. It was my first time with applying finishes so it wasnt perfect but my uncle liked it and I learned alot from it. I made it from left over walnut from another project.

I like your arrowhead design. Walnut is one of my favorite woods, great piece!

Nice stand. Just passing on a suggestion though…..if you want to continue woodworking in the future..you have to make sure the dishes are done first. As long as the chores are done, the wife can’t complain right..ha. Keep up the good work and looking forward to more posts of your projects.

Nice job. I really like the stance of the stand you designed.
You did a great job on this and the skull displays well.
