This isn’t quite as exciting as my mom’s jewelry box, but I figured I would put it up just for the heck of it. My dad has been talking for a while about having a better place to work on his guns and other things instead of the shed. Previously, all that he had was a standard cheapo plastic fold up table.
The bench itself probably weighs about 225 lb or maybe more, it’s heavy and doesn’t want to move. The legs are glued and screwed 2×4’s and the two surfaces are 3/4” mdf supported by 7 cross braces each on the top and the bottom, hopefully it’ll support it. I will be coating the top surface with poly in a few days once I have some more time. I finished up the spot with some peg board and some organization for him, he’ll be able to do as he pleases so he doesn’t have to always go digging in the toolbox for a wrench or anything else. Anyways, enjoy!
