This a PART of the ornaments I turned this year.
Every year I turn ornaments for the kids as Christmas gifts. Last year I did not. Boy did I catch trouble for that!! haha
This year I think I made up for it.
Woods are: Maple, Purple Heart, Walnut, Mahogany, Padauk, Cocobola, Cherry, Blood Wood, and probably some more. ( After all, they were all scraps! )
Made a total of 54 ornaments, only about 40 pictured.
Please leave all comments and suggestions.
Thanks for looking

Looks like a fine collection. I’ve saved the bottom of last years trunk to try and turn some trees like the one you made, hope I can make it as nice. Really like your urchin ornaments.

Scrappy this is what I want to do this year but I might have started to late. These are beautiful.
I sat last Sunday almost all day and watched videos of folks turning these and then started. The new Powermatic makes it a lot easier than the old Craftsman to turn these and anything else for that matter. I need to start using diff wood for diff effects also.
