Project Information

My wonderful Wife has a seemingly large quantity of Silk (at least I think they are Silk) Scarfs…. Anyway she had them hanging over a metal hanger and everytime she would pull one off she would have several others that came off with the one she wanted. One day she showed me a picture in a catalog of a one similar to this one. So out to the shop I went and made this one.

It is made out of 3/4" plywood, the holes are 1 1/8" dia. and 3/4" dia, I used a Maple stain with two coats of Lacquer.

Chuck - That is a nifty idea that you built. From the looks of the scarf collection you better start on the next one soon.. Later.

Thanks fellow LJers for the nice comments. For the life of me I just don't understand how this project made it to the Daily Top Three with so many great projects out there.

Thanks again for the wonderful comments!

Very cool and useful. I'm sure you have to pay extreme attention to how smooth the holes are on your finished project to make sure they don't snag the scarves.
Well done.
