It’s that time of year so in holiday spirit, my family and I were all set to decorate the house, starting with the tree. I went up into the attic and got the artificial tree we use and discovered the stand to be in pieces. With disappointed looks from the family, I came up with a way to get the tree to stand. Within 20 minutes, I came up with a homemade stand and had a very happy family! I wouldn’t say it is great or even pretty to look at but it gets the job done. It is also able to withstand the test of an 18 month old (high energy) boy, although the ornaments aren’t looking so hot!

In true Lumberjock style, you headed to the wood shop instead of the store. I think the stand looks great.
Have your say...
