So, I finally had time to complete 4 chairs to match the poker table I had built last year. This was out of the same walnut tree, and then finished the same as the poker table (two coats of teak oil rubbed in, and then 4 coats of polyurethane rubbed in). Lots of sanding on these. My wife helped pick out the fabric to use. I used 2” high density foam for the seat cushins, and then upholstry fabric. They match the wood colors of the table, and then the decor of our house. They ended up being very comfortable!

Included is an early shot fo the chairs, and then a picture of the chairs with the poker table (with the added top cover on). I also included a picture of the original picture of the table without the top on.

Great job on the entire project. My hat goes off to anyone who can build chairs.

Nice work.

Looks great! Making an octagon-shaped table is such a brilliant idea.
