Hello,
This is hedgehogs puzzle, cutted on scroll saw from about 13 mm oak.
Mushroom painted with some dark stain. Later need finish all with Danish oil.
Only 10 pieces, but kids really enjoyng it. And especialy when all pieces is disassembled and kids dont know what it will be. Its not so easy.
Sorry for my poor english, its not my strongest side.

Very cute. Takes patience to make these. That’s not my strongest suit.

Olegas,
Welcome to Lumberjocks.
This is a great puzzle design.
Thank you for sharing the pattern. If it is all right with you I’ll make one for my two-year-old great niece.

It’s so fun to look at, but hard to do. You pulled it off flawlessly!

Just wondering…What is the significance of the mushroom?

significance ??
In fairy-tales housewifely hedgehogs are collecting mushrooms and apples and bringing it (on his backs) to their homes, preparing for hard winter time … Later best and most friendly hedgehogs are sharing this food with others forests creatures – squirrels, rabbits, badgers….
Ok, at least in lithuanian fary- tales … :)

So glad you posted this. Have made a couple myself (http://lumberjocks.com/projects/74585)
Super impressed that you designed it yourself!! Its a really nice puzzle, and after testing it on my neighbors, its actually more difficult to solve that I would have expected (took them about 10 minutes!)
