I made this hand plane from a Hock kit in just one afternoon. The body is jarrah and the wedge is maple. It is finished with Danish oil. Adjustment is very easy with the little hammer that I made from a brass plumbing fixture and oak dowel. It cuts a very fine shaving.

Pretty plane. Great job, hope she works well for many years.
