This is a boat bed the we created in September 2012. It features a toy box at the bow (front), bookcase headboard, and a pull-out trundle. The trundle was actually modified to be use as a large toy box. We added sides and a bottom. Both of these can be removed if the customer decides they would like to go back to using it as a trundle.
The portholes were painted in a copper faux finish. I think that the copper went well with the black.

As an ex sailor I have an affinity with your boat beds. If my kids were still young I reckon they would love one.

Very nice. Love the overall design and the extra storage will definately come in hand for the owner.
