I hand crafted this Santa’s Sled out of red cedar, I used soft white maple for the skids, drawer pulls and walnut for the bench, it has three drawers with one hidden drawer, I left the drawers on the inside unfinished so that you can still smell the cedar, It measures 15” x 7 “ x 4”.
I was on the fence to leave the whole sled unfinished being it was cedar but decided to just leave the drawer interior in the raw, I also have a second sled on the finish bench with first coat on it only it’s is made from Mahogany, A lot of detail went into these boxes, I plan on making some Christmas trees next
Thanks for looking and comments are always enjoyed.

Randy, This is a great build. What a creative idea for Christmas gifts. The elves in your shop must be really hopping getting ready for Christmas. I especially like the pulls you have integrated into the sled design. Nice idea there. Looking forward to the next sled and the tree. You are really on a creative bent. One of the wood magazines should pick up on you and your ideas. Have you sent them any photos?

Very nice, like the wood combo. Great design. Are you going to make the next one with elves or reindeer for handles?

Randy, Your designs are simply amazing! This was a great idea and your execution of the build was flawless as usual. I think you make as nice a bandsaw box as any I have ever seen and your designs make them collectable. You are taking bandsaw boxes to a whole new level.
