Completed in 1988. The crib is made of cherry slats and the outer frames are of birch. Slats are held in place by glued dowels. The hardware kit was from Rockler. I was suspect of the security of the sides of the crib and destroyed the crib before moving a couple of years ago since I didn’t want any future grandchildren getting injured.

Yeah, the first one was born in Alaska. He’s still a handsome one!

It would be nice to have fixed sides, but then the mattress would be difficult to adjust. Picking out cribs will be their own call. I’ll build other items…
