End Grain Project

I had a few pieces of cherry, maple and walnut left over from last winter’s cutting board projects so I decided to go ahead and use it up with a few more end grain boards since they were already cut to width anyway.

With these two I didn’t go off of a pattern, I just put contrasting woods together to see how they would look after I was done. The first one I was very happy with, the second one turned out rather bland, but that’s my fault for not thinking it through better.

I still have a little bit of the wood left over and I’m thinking that I’ll add a some mahogany it to and make one final board for the Christmas season. Stay tuned.

Youre too clever for me, how did you make it?
