This one also uses a gun metal double twist cigar pen kit.
Wood is Lignum Vitae…as far as I can tell.
On this one I used a modified flat washer around the nib and just 2 thin magnets in the ash.
It doesn’t hold on as well and the hardware was just a bit proud of the blanks so there is a small gap between the 2 wood pieces. This CAO label really doesn’t go with a green cigar color but they looked good together.
Anyway, another for the collection and offering.
Thanks for looking.

Nice!
Is the band on these pens covered/protected from wear?

Thanks all.
The cigar band is applied with spray adhesive on the back and then there are 4-6 coats of the same CA finish on top. I need to use that many to get the edges filled in enough to be sure it won’t be worn away.

Can you please describe how you get the ash part to look so realistic?
Thanks.
By the way, I’m a big fan of your work.

Just looking at your pens is making me want to go pick up a Padron Annivesario.
When I was in college, I had a humidor in my apartment and I would smoke one a few nights a week. I miss those days.
Nice work!
Have your say...
