Here is a bath caddy that a friend of mine from work asked me to make for her. She sent a picture of the basic slatted board and said she thought it would be nice to have when she is reading or enjoying a glass of wine. I surprised her with the book/tablet stand and the votive holders.
About 28” long (width of bathtub), with support slats underneath that keep it from moving around when sitting on top of the tub. All pieces made from oak and finished with 4 rounds of tung oil and 2 rounds of wax.
Hope you enjoy and feel free to make one of your own if you have someone who enjoys their bath time!
Lesson learned: Don’t rely on your friends to give you accurate measurements. I had to drill out the plugs and realign the support slats to get a good fit after she got it home.
