Hi Everyone, I was asked by my wife who is a member of WOW (non profit woman’s group that raise money for local charities) to make a few trays they could auction off at a up coming event. I wanted to do something a bit different than the normal tray and finally decided on what you see here. The wood in the rectangle shaped one is alternating curly cherry and mahogany .The round is white oak with a strip of curly cherry. I used the table saw to cut the circles and curves which I have to admit is pretty easy..thanks to all of you smarter folks for sharing how to do things!! The handles came from the local home depot. The finishing comprises of several coats of pecan stain and a few coats of poly. All in all they are simple ,elegant, practical and easy to make. I hope thay are well received.
Thanks for looking.

I always wondered why guys don’t use more metal handles, or part metal and part wood.
They look great and I hope you make alot of $$$ for the charity!
Great first name by the way, Ray
