Our woodturner’s club has a “Club Challenge” every month.
This month’s challenge was to make a ‘bowl’ that’s taller than it is wide.
When I put some red cedar chunks on the lathe, these two vases came out.
I like turning red cedar; the color variance is awesome, and you get the terrific
smell, too!

Great job on the vases. I too like the smell but be careful, and wear something to protect your lungs. Cedar is one of the worse to damage your lungs.
