After stating this about 4 months ago and between the HOT temp’s here in Michigan , I finally finished
this utility shed, built all out of RECYCLED LUMBER. I built most of this in front of the shop, then disassembled it and loaded it on the truck to the location if it’s home. The only thing we had to buy for this is the shingles.
When my girl friend talked to me about building one , she said that she would buy the material for it,
I told her then she would NOT have to buy any lumber or any thing else, but she wanted all the color shingle
and not mismatched. I even made a sky light in the roof and it serves as a vent also. it pay to hold on to stuff
to use it some day, even had some plexiglass that we used for the skylight , the door hinges were from a job that I had more hinges then what I needed , ( Save them , use later) And for the eave vents , had some
screen’s that I repaired and kept the old screen to use later, cause she didn’t want any Bee’s getting in the shed. She is allergic to bee stings

Maybe I shouldn’t give all my trade secrets away.

Great job on that shed! I love recycling old stuff. It is usually better than the quality you can buy now a days, too.
I can’t imagine that your girlfriend did not want some green. red and black shingles???? They are free!! Just kidding!! That looks real nice. You should advertize and go in the business of making them!!................................Jim

When are you stopping for for your project? Next week is my last week to do anything for a few months.

Excellent job. Nice re-use of old lumber. Little barn style looks great.
Now all you to do is make tiny hay bales and fill the loft ?
