made for my sisters bday present,,,... cherry and maple carcass,,, african mahogany and maple drawer boxes,, i used the mlcs dovetail jig,, and tung oil,, i find the blind dovetail jig alot harder to set up … but it does look cool i guess,,, ps, use paper backing for inlays when switching grain directions.
otherwise they may crack when the wood expands,, different woods expand differently,, paper backing helps

Well done buddy. One thing I learned is I always do nice things for my siblings, however, I do not expect anything back.

So far I have not been disappointed. :)
But they are still family.

You did a nice job on that. I am in the same situation with my sister, but what are you gonna do? I don’t make her gifts for the return, but for the satisfaction of giving her something I made. I know you know what I mean – Nice work.
