Police and Fire Patch Shadow Box

Here’s a shadow box I made last fall. My wife owns a diner and they support police and fire fighters. All of these patches my dad got so most are from Michigan. The diner is in Chesapeake, VA and I was having a hard time getting patches from the local departments. My dad figured this would motivate them to get me some patches to make another shadow box. Sure enough, we got a bunch of local patches as soon as this went up. I still need to make that second box…

Box is made of walnut with bubinga corner splines. Fabric is black felt and I used plexiglass in the front which is encased in some grooves.
