Made this from items collected on the north bay of Kelley’s Island Ohio back around 1983 or 84. The middle feature is the shape of the island decorated with bits of glass and pottery & outlined with rope. Haven’t been back there since 1984.

Since Kelleys Island ferry is less than 10 miles from my house, I know why you remember it fondly. It is a beautiful escape. For those who don’t know, Kelleys Island is about 2 miles high by 4 miles long and is only available by ferry, private boat or small plane. A big portion of the island is state park and there are bed and breakfasts, hiking trails, even a brewery. It is a little taste of the past.
You did spell the name wrong (there’s an extra “e” in Kelley but no apostrophe) but that does not matter since it is your memory and you can remember it any way you want.

A great sign for bringing back fond memories! Nice job!
