My favorite type of projects are working from museum measured drawings. Trying to imagine all the steps taken by craftsmens of long ago and just appreciating the silence of handwork and hand tools. Although I am sure Shakers were quite ingenius in inventing and useing woodworking machines to help complete their tasks. All in all it is a great satisfaction to do.

-- I played with Legos as a kid and I never had the part I thought I needed, so I learned to improvise. Now I'm an engineer with a woodworking hobby.
