I have a one-man handyman service, and a homeowner asked me to repair her front door. The door has been exposed to the afternoon sun and weather for decades. I took the door off the hinges, planed it (Bosch 3365) and sanded it. I then stained and urethaned the door. Didn’t want to take off too much wood, so the door’s color is not as uniform as I would have liked. But, the customer was pleased. I think the storm door is much newer than the wooden door.

Yep, it’s wood and you worked on it! What a cool old door. Definately worth saving.

As Josey Wales would have said….”Wooden door, I reckon it’s woodworking”.... :)
Funny thing, as I was looking at the pictures, I was thinking the same thing as doordude…”nice save”
