I turned out a batch of 25 Freedom Pens this weekend and got them ready to mail back to the project administrators.
These are a mix of hard maple and red oak, all finished with O.B.’s Shine Juice.
I think turning pens is a good skill-building exercise. These were done with the lathe running at 4000rpm, using an oval skew for the bulk of the work, and a 1/2” curved skew for some of the finer details.
