Very simple build. This is a douglas fir raised bed we built and then coated with elastomeric paint. Then we did a lightly sandblasted mushroom wood facade. Mushroom Wood is one of the reclaimed materials we carry at our lot. It comes from barns where they grew mushrooms and the enzymes from the mushrooms eat away at the softer portions of the wood leaving knots and things raised. It makes for a very interesting texture. It is predominantly cypress and hemlock. This particular mushroom wood is a thicker, higher quality stock that is more rare to find. On the corners of the raised bed we put large angle iron steel corners. Then we did a border with 2×6 douglas fir and coated it with water seal.
