Inspired by the pictures on Omar Angel Perez website

I glued together two walnut scraps from my chair project, printed a picture of a show and band sawed the rough shape. After that it was rasping and sanding while watching after my son playing in the lake. The laces are from a bandsaw blade.

Just a fun little project to pass the time, and also served as practice for using the rasp in shaping my Maloof lowbacks.

I’m guessing this will draw some comments when put on display in our home…

great little project. Its actually a nice looking shoe, although the bandsaw blade straps might be a little tough on the feet and ankles!

Great project. The Mrs. loves it but is not too sure about band-saw blades for straps.

You’re right on today’s fashion, Antti!
