Finally got name signs for the three neighbors that share the same road with me. I like to do the numbers and letters freehand (I do have stencil kits) so they look more “country”.
I usually just make street numbers but thought my neighbors might like their names instead. Now I need to make one for me!

Hope this doesn’t give away your address…......

Nice. I just finished a no soliciting sign to try to cut down on the magazine scamsters, but I did mine on the milling machine and it’s got some goofs and is too mechanical.

Whitewulf, the first Google result for my name contains not only my address, but my home and cell phone numbers. The only bad experience I’ve had from that was a drunk Kirby vacuum cleaner salesman trying to sell me a vacuum after I’d dissed Kirbys online, but general I find that making it easy to find me has opened doors.

I use two. 1/2” box core and 1/2” v. I’ve used other shapes but these seem to work well and you can come in behind with carving chisels if you mess up (like me).
