Mesquite Candle Holders

I made these out of mesquite logs. I removed the bark and then sliced them flat on both sides using a band saw. Once that was completed I ran them through my jointer/planer to get them parallel on both sides. These are going to be used in Eagle Scouts Court of Honor ceremony’s for our scout troop. Each candle will represent a point of the scout law.

I like this a lot! Simple elegance at it’s best. You are lucky to have access to such nice lumber.
