Project Information

Been a while sice I've been around. Hope you don't hold it against me. Thought I'd reintroduce myself with a project I finished and delivered a few months ago.

After finding myself back on my own again work wise, I decided to make a cedar toy chest for the grandkids, Dario and Elena. Looks like the chest is a hit.

As you can tell by the first few pictures you just can't have to many clamps. Thanks to Sketchup and Matthias Wandel's Big Print program I was able to know just what I was getting into before I started.

The material came from a score back in '09, last pic, that I wondered if I'd ever find a project for. The redwood in the pic is now a laundry door waiting for final assembly.

Sometimes life has to happen before you get an idea, like these two critters coming along.

Nice job. Round tops can be tough to do well.
