Really nice, unconventional design! I like how the cross member is the same in dimension as the 4 pieces that make the top. Looks smart.

Great idea for using some of my leftover 4×4 treated pine from our deck build. Not quite as pretty, but I’ll dress the pieces down a little and call it ‘functional” while lightening my stack of stuff-i-need-to-do-something-with! If it won’t sell, it can go out by the pond or somewhere in the yard and I’ll count it as a win!
