My fiance asked me to build a box for our upcoming wedding ceremony. Instead of lighting candles or pouring sand together this houses two glasses that we will drink from on our anniversary. We will also place a letter to each other in the box at the ceremony that we will read on our 10 year anniversary. It is made out of pine and all the edges are banded with a 3/8” piece of hickory. The stain is from benjamin moore and is called sherwood and the topcoat is 3 coats of chemcraft plastofix lacquer. The brass feet and hinges are made by brusso and the lock was purchased at lee valley.

Jesse, I like the concept for this box. The letters and glasses are a worthy goal. Hope you don’t lose the key. Nice job of combining materials from various sources. Keep boxing and keep posting.
