This is one of my favorite pieces and it took me a few months to build as it was a learning experience. I had a lot of tea kicking around so naturally I needed an excuse to build something and this is what came out. This was tricky because it was my first piece that incorporated drawers and precise fitting. The body and drawers are made from pine from pallets at work and the pulls are made from Silver Maple from the front yard. Everything is held together using butt joints and dowels, the drawers only have dowels on the front. The only big tools I had to work with were a band saw and a miter saw, the rest was done with the usual suspect hand tools. I love the overall rustic look of it and am quite pleased as to how it turned out.

Nice job. Very creative with limited tools. Always nice to see and use something we built. Welcome to LumberJocks!! :)

Nice job, I like the look of it. Might have to do something like this for the wife, she loves tea.
