First checkerboard I made. Lots of setup work to get wood ready!!!

Looks good Matt. All of the squares look tight. Did you just cut dowels for the pieces?

I have built on eof these and I have a greater appreciation for this than many will have. Great job. Did you turn the round dowel for the checkers or buy them? I did turn mine but that didn’t add much.

I turned them using two joined pieces of scrap from project.
