Saw this posted by KnotCurser a Few Days Ago So I made a couple and promptly gave them away. Now I don’t have one, so I guess I’ll have to make another for myself.
Surprisingly – This is a moderately difficult puzzle.
Dice – Hard Maple
Pips and Box – Black Walnut
Finish – Watco “natural” oil
SOLUTION – Laminated and fits in box.

Well done. Very well done.
The walnut boxes are extra icing on the cake.

This turned out to be one diabolical puzzle. I thought this would be great for my father and brother to play with. So I started to make 3. Found some Cherry, cut and planed it. Cut to size and marked the pips. The one thing I did not do was mark the pips the same on all 3 sets. So now I had 27 pieces of beautiful cherry mixed together. Before starting to finish I tried to put one together. One week later I still had 27 pieces of Cherry and not one dice. That evening we had baby back ribs smoked with cherry sticks. I have now learned my lesson and make one at a time. Wonderful puzzle.
