This table is made out of scrap wood. Found the pieces in a throw out pile at a hardwood lumber yard. Got the OK to take them.
The top is burled Hickory…...I think.
Used lap joints, biscuits, and screws for the construction. Even made homemade plugs for underneath the table top supports.
Turned out well. I plan on making several more just for fun!

Beautiful looking set of tables. Your beautiful wood is the reason I saw my own lumber. I prefer the logs a sawmill cutting dimensional lumber would not cut. Every ugly log has some beautiful wood inside.

Hickory, yes…burl, no. Its just hickory with a high level of curly figure. Its a beauty, nice pice.
