Here’s the latest…..a Grizzly kit that only needed sanding, assembly and finishing. Put together for a co-worker’s son, and as soon as my daughter saw it, she thought she needed “a tiny guitar” for her birthday (July 17th)....guess I’ll be ordering another kit this evening. Anyway, nothing too wild here, the instructions were pretty good, though a few extra pictures would have been helpful. Sanded to 320 gr and shot on 4 coats of laquer…...Grizzly suggested the fingerboard be left unfinished, but I put a little mineral oil on it to darken it a bit.

Btw….to those who reinforced my idea of adhesive letters “sprayed in” with laquer… worked great!

Nice job! I did a couple of these for my grandkids and they loved them. However, one is now back in my shop for repair. Think they were playing El Kabong!

Thanks guys….delivered the gift today. My co-worker’s son has special needs, and has some difficulty with motor skills…...she sent a text saying he has been strumming for the last 3 hours and won’t put it down…...I tell ya, of the projects I’ve made for others, this one ranks pretty high on the “feel good” scale…..seeing his smile and now hearing he is putting the project to use really warms the heart. He’s a fairly small framed youngster, so I figured something this size would be perfect…...he loves music and dancing, so now he can make his own!

Looks great! Yeah honestly for the price, you can’t beat it.
