Garrett, my Grandson and I spent some quality time together today. We built a pencil box with a secret compartment. A Big Thanks to Steve of Mere Mortals fame for the quick and easy idea. Garrett did a little finish sanding with the power sander, then round off all the corners….Then he did a very special paint job that only a six year old can do…It was a fun time for both of us….Thanks for looking…..

I like the project. It looks like you two had a great time together. I’m sure he’ll remember that for a long long time. Thanks for the idea as well I’m always trying to come up with a project for me and my Girls to work on when they’er in the shop with me.

Oh, I am so glad to see someone took the secret compartment pencil box and made it with a young woodworker. Looks like Garrett is a shop-partner in the making. Congrats to both of you!
